In the frame of our commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance), we support education programmes in Rwanda and in Senegal that are very dear to our hearts. Help us to continue these important sustainable projects.

Seeing Hands

Seeing Hands is a Rwanda non-profit organisation that trains young visually impaired and blind people to become massage therapists.

In 2022, COGNOS International signed a cooperation agreement with the organisation. On a volunteer basis, we help the NGO to carry out the basic and advanced training courses.

In recent months, we provided trainings in Kingali in the fields of physiotherapy, anatomy, marketing, and social media. To improve the equipment of the NGO, we donated a skeleton for the anatomy lessons as well as uniforms for the students.

We are so proud of the work that our partners do here every day!

SAGE Hospital e.V.

Founded in 2004, SAGE Hospital e.V. is a hospital in Warang, located in rural Senegal in West Africa, round 80 km south of the capital Dakar. It was established mainly to offer basic medical services (births, vaccinations, obstetric and dental treatments, etc.) at affordable prices. The project is funded by donations only. All stakeholders are volunteers who travel to Senegal in regular intervals to do maintenance work and to accompany the further development.

Under the motto “Feiern hilft!” (Partying helps), the association has been generating donations in cash and in kind through events and prominent supporters for about 20 years.

Together with teachers and master students of its affiliated LUNEX University, COGNOS International has visited the SAGE Hospital at least once a year. Thanks to these efforts, more than 40 patients over the last three years received free medical treatment and physiotherapy.
